Put as much positive energy into the world as you can. You may never know the legacy you leave behind by doing so, but if you leave this world having done more good than harm, you can be proud of your accomplishment.

THINK BIG would be the first rule. The second would be not to give up. The best thing would be to try to change how people think about a certain situation: to make them oppose war in any/all forms, for example, or to try to understand that what we do now affects others later.

Simply "give" without expecting anything in return and do so continually.
My "secret" is practised by my volunteering in many such local programs. Americas Promise is one that I routinely donate my time.
%Mentoring does reap it's suttle rewards to all who "see" your satisfaction in your countinence.

HELPING PEOPLE IN NEED NO MATTER HOW SMALL, FOR THE GLORY OF THE LORD AND NOT YOUR SELF.
THE ONLY THING YOU CAN TAKE WITH YOU FROM THIS LIFE IS WHAT YOU GIVE AWAY IN THE LORDS NAME.
GIVE OF YOUR TIME
GIVE OF YOUR MONEY, UNDERSTANDING, PATIENCE, LOVE,
OUR MAIN GOAL OF BEING HERE IS TO FIRST LOVE GOD AND SECOND YOUR NEIGHBOR

Glory be and behold, Telling someone something he does not understand is pointless, even if you add that he will not be able to understand it. while considering that, we possess art lest we perish of the truth. lest ye shall not forget, “who are you?” let's just say...i'm a friend. “yeah, well, maybe i don't want a friend.” i didn't say i was yours.
