I would ask how often do consumers buy the cassette when they just bought the CD. Possible, but Not very often.

Well I will put it 2 you this way-most retail outlets (Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart) don't sell cassettes anymore. Hope that answers your question! And the competion between DVD's and VHS? DVD hands down just in case if you were wondering!
