1)FDR=First challenge,crumbling bank system.Many banks were closing so he declared a bank holiday asking congress to pass an emergency banking relief act. Also started the relief for the jobless,called CCC or Civilian Conservation corps.Men between 18 and 25 were hired to work for $1 a day to plant trees and build bridges ect.

#1 FDR promised people to get a lot of things done to help America get out of the depression. He promised to this in his first 100 days.

#2 The speech that WInston Churchill gave was his famous "Iron Curtain" speech. He said an Iron Cutain had come down between Eastern and Western Europe, with the Soviets in charge in Eastern Europe.
