Hi, Go to Dublin, there is a lot to see and do. I stayed in Wynn's Hotel in the centre of Dublin and it was ideally located. Take a tour of the city on one of the green tour buses, you can get on and off anywhere until 5pm. And the price is around 14 euros per day. Visit Guinness factory the tour is great and the viewing tower is fantastic. There is also a Ghost Bus that tours haunts of the city, it's on O'Connell St. at night. The food is fantastic, the shopping is great we thought it was going to be expensive but it was great. We flew Aer Lingus from Manchester the cost was around £45.00 return.but you may be able to get it cheaper than that, the earlier you book the better the cost of flying. Wherever you decide to go have a great time.....

I'm Greek so I have no profit of choosing one but,OH MY GOD !
I went to Prague last year with my girlfriend and it was unbelievable.I know that you think I'm overreacting but I simply cannot express it with words! So beautiful,so medieval so like a fary tale!(the ticket collector in St.Vitus Cathedral stole us)but still, what a city!
I've never been at Rome or Dublin.I've read some guide books though and seen some documentaries about them.Rome is qiute beuatiful too,but too crowded and at the end it's ok if you are a history freak(the same applies for Athens).Dublin seemed beautiful, picturesque but that's just about it...
So, PRAGUE ! I 'll bet your right arm for it! :p

Prague in very very good. Rome i do not know about but i am Northern Irish and can tell you that since they went to the Euro the cost of Dublin is out of this world. You could go to Belfast there is no trouble ther and an awful lot to see or come up to Edinburgh a lot to see there and lots of shows in all the threatres

Dublin is fantastic, there is loads of great historical things to go and see prisions cathedrals, churches the spike, and of course there is the Guinness, and Temple Bar, but bring plenty of Euros as it is expensive.
I really loved Prague but got ripped off in my taxi from the train station, the underground is really good, so try that before getting a taxi, also the accomodation is very well priced. and beer is cheap off the track a bit. it is a very beautiful place.
I've not been to Rome yet sorry...

If you are into history, go to Rome or Berlin. I'd say Berlin because it will be cooler that time of year. Prague, Vienne, Norway, Ireland, Barcelona and Seville are all great cities too.

My travel blog I am just getting off the ground may help you.

I've been to all the cities you mentioned and would thouroughly recommend Rome as there is plenty to see there. You can spend a day just marvelling at the treasures in the Vatican museum or wander around the ancient ruins of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Of course, the food and drink are superb. I love Prague but not in the summer, too many tourists. Spring or fall is the best, most people mill around the old town and the Charles bridge its worth seeing but the clubs and nighlife is second to none, and its still fairly cheap compared to Rome.

Oogravy, you must visit Ireland, its like going back in time, very green and fresh, stay away from the cities, they are like Paris amsterdam etc, smaller, but just as busy.
The history is interesting, the B&bs great, the pubs friendly.
I will go again!!
