I would address him as "Mr." If he prefers you to call him by his first name, he'll tell you.

Go with Mr. The worst that can happen is that he will ask you to call him 'Ron'.
If you just go ahead and call him Ron he might be offended, even if he never says anything about it.

Everyone in my company calls the CEO by his first name, but he is a really laid back cool boss...

If he wants you to address him by his first name he will tell you. Personally, I would address him formally. Can't go wrong.

its his phone, he can answere it any way he chooses too, would address him as Mr. until he tells you different

i would always call him Mr unless he specifically says to call him Ron...just respectful
