the part that is white is shaped like an l when u look at it...it works fine, but it bugs me because i cant see most of my songs. i have a nano, and i turned it on like 5 min ago and it looked like that. What is wrong with it and can i get it fixed?

I've been searching through these pages, and it appears as though you'll have to bring it back top the store and they should repair or replace it for you if you're still in warranty (1 year is standard; AppleCare is 3 years).

all you need to do is press and hold the menu and action (middle) buttons at the same time. it should reset itself. if it doesn't fix anything go to www.apple.com/support. they'll know what to do with it.
i hope your iPod troubles work out.
