WHAT IS IT?! Does anybody else see it?

...and the sunset NEVER comes this early!!! it's supposed to be hot here!!!

Dust in the atmosphere would cause the effect you are seeing. The dust would scatter light so that the warm (pink and yellow) colors you are seeing would be transmiited. It's like at sunset, where the orange is due to both atmospheric refraction and atmospheric dust.

Remember the saying: Red sky at night, sailor's delight, red sky at morning, sailor's take warning. It is a true saying, partly. At evening, if the weather to the west is dry there should be dust in the atmosphere, due to it being carried there by wind. In the morning, if there still is dust in the atmosphere it could mean a lot of wind, and wind sometimes means bad weather.

The sun can't quite shine through some clouds. The light is being dispersed by water particles so the whole sky looks weird colored.
