I used Bactine. I was recommended from the guy who pierced it. You can purchase it at the grocery store or Shoppers Drugmart or any drugstore and it's cheap. My nose didnt get infected and the Bactine didnt dry the skin out around my nose or make it oily. Its also spray on too. Rubbing alcohol and proxide dry it out and kill "friendly bacteria" or you can mix sea salts with luke warm water and soak a cotton swab and clean your nose ring

First if you got your nose pierced why didn't you get this information from the piercer? Secondly, if you planned on getting this done, why didn't you check this out first? I have had a nose piercing for many, many years. long before it became a "fashion" and you can easily get an infection. You need a salt mixture to soak it in and a cleaning fluid, I suggest you get on the phone and call around to a reputable piercing location and quickly purchase what you need before its infected, which I assure you will be painful. Also in the future may I suggest you be more responsible.

Don't touch it at all and make sure your hands are clean when you are cleaning it. Use soap and water. Or you can buy this spray called H20cean which is a salt water based spray made just for healing piercings. Worked wonders for me and all of my piercings (though I DO NOT have my nose pierced I imagine it would be just as effective) Good luck! â¥

Soak it in Sea Salt, it prevents infections and helps speed up the healing process. You can find it at any grocery store.

you can use hydrogen peroxide. pour a little on a cotton swab and wipe the area with it maybe twice a day. you can get both the hydrogen peroxide and the cotton swabs at walmart, kmart, target, practically anywhere for less than $6.

Rubbing alcohol.
And if it starts to sting, feel free to kick back with a nice cold bottle of Colt 45.
Mmm. Smooth.
