The Apollo missions to the Moon did indeed happen. The major body of physical proof lies in the collective science the world has gathered from the solar, seismic and optical instruments placed there by the astronauts. These devices and the data they have produced, have been accessed and studied by thousands of scientists all over the world for many years. Because of this, the scientific community has confirmed many things such as: the exact distance between the earth and the moon; the existence of frozen water on the moon near its poles, and subtle changes in the earth's tides that could only be detected by having precise measurements available from equipment located on the surface of the Moon.

The people that were around in 1969 and saw the moon landing, and the folks that were all part of the entire space race all KNOW it happened. We know it wasn't faked or a hoax (no way anyone had the CGI or cinematography technology to fake that back then.
The people that question it are those who weren't there - young people that grew up with Star Wars movies, CGI, and Steven Spielberg. This young folks don't know what life was like before all that was around - they just didn't experience life without all the modern technology.
So its only natural for them to think it could have been faked, since they see so little of the real world anymore. Cell phones, computer games, virtual reality, text messages, etc. all contribute to our young people being completely disconnected from the real world.

Why does it need to be proven? Who doubts it? People who claim that the flag is "weaving" in a breeze (it was *wrinkled*,, plain and simple) wet at the same time state that the whole thing was filmed indoors (so how come there would have been wind to blow the flag?) and so on.
It happened. The Russians would have loved to show the US was lying with a staged and fake moon mission, as it would have humiliated the US at the height of the cold war, while allowing the Russians to go to the moon first and for real if the US mission was fake. The Russians had both the technology to prove it was fake AND the desire to show it was fake, IF it was fake. The Russians did no such thing because, of all people, they KNEW the Apollo mission was real.

Personally i very much doubt they did as the radiation from the van allen belt would have cooked them alive as the suits contained absolutely zero protection from radiation ( according to the original manufacturer) ,that and the forgotten live footage that the aus & nz public saw blatently showing a coca cola bottle in the dust on the surface...this footage was edited out and rest of world didnt get this footage. These and dozens of other anomalies including one unbroken shot from inside the craft showing the earth in two seperate windows behind the astronauts. The us were desperate to beat the soviets to the moon having lost the 1st man in space race and so the landings were faked!.sorry to say no proof either way unless you believe the film footage.

The "no-landing" conspiracy theories have more holes than a block of Swiss cheese.

And what about Occam's Razor? The simplest solution that satisfies the facts is the most likely to be correct.

So, which is simpler?

1) NASA really did go to the moon.

2) NASA got thousands of people to participate in a conspiracy, stage a moon landing, AND keep quiet about it for the last 35+ years, in order to pull off a hoax. Yeah, right!!

By the time you consider how much stuff would be involved in faking a moon landing, it's simpler to do it for real.

Well......I believe that they have landed, but there hasn't actually been any cases officialy of somebody "assulting" them of not reaching the Moon.

People talk a lot and they think the Moon Landing was a fake because of shadows, being wrongly put.

But why would NASA spend thousands of dollars to build rockets to no-where?!

There are lots of websites accusing that. Check Google.
That's a good question-I starred it.
Good Luck!

No we didn't land on the Moon. We didn't invent the aircraft, we didn't cure polio, we didn't cross oceans and found new land, and certainly we didn't discover fire. Of all things we accomplished and can prove, even if we didn't land on the Moon, I believe it's possible. I believe in things, because I know how they are done. The race to Moon had two participants. If we didn't land on the Moon, I'm sure Soviets would have proved it to rest of the world.

Let me tell you that I have seen the reflction returns of the high resolution radar observations of the moon.

For some bizzar reason, there seem to be wierd lunar module shaped returns from the locations NASA say the LMs put down.

I can only ssume that they spent a lot of money going to the moon or the same amount to fake it.

If there was proof that man landed on the moon the conspiracy theory junkies would say that the proof was faked. And they would come up with all kinds of phoney evidence to prove that the proof is phoney, and we'd be back here again asking "has it been proven yet that man landed on the moon?".

Do you ever get that feeling of deja vu?
What we need is a standard answer for all these damn questions. i.e.
Debunking the Coriolis effect,
Confirming man did land on the moon in 1969,
Kamikaze helmets
Bermuda Triangle
Why is the sky blue?
etc etc
