As much as i hate to admit, I have started to notice those vertical lines above my upper lip, that liptick tend to seep into. I just hate it,
is there a product I can use? I know that I shy away from moisturizing lipstick, because that means they will travel to the lines quicker. I do use lip liners but it doesnt seem to help.I am afraid to use any type of gloss for that same reason. Have you used something that worked ?
Thanks

Try A lip Primer. It will prevent feathering, and help with those lines.

Not to mention it will also help your lipstick stay on longer.

Forget the liner! I adore the marriage between technology and cosmetics, because now there is a lipstick that WON'T budge unless you want it to! CoverGirl and MaxFactor make the best ones. Outlast and Lipfinity (respectively) are lipsticks that use a magical technology (I have no idea how it works) called 'permatone," I think, that cements the colour to your lips. Then, a smoothing glossy top coat (comes with the lipstick) is applied and double seals in the colour. It lasts 8-16 hours, unless you take it off with make-up remover. You never have to reapply, and it won't kiss off, come off while eating greasy food, on a coffee mug or wine glass, or on a cigarette. i don't see how it could possibly feather. It comes in various brands, hundreds of shades, and now even the top coat has different shades (gold sparkles can be put over red lipstick for a smashing Christmas or Valentine's look). There are shades from sheer pinks that look just like gloss but don't come off like gloss, to super matte brick reds and everything inbetween! Fading lipsticks and hard to match liners are now a thing of the past!

Use a good primer before you apply any make up to your face. This sets your face like a blank canvas and ensures you make up stays on all day, fills in fine lines and open pores.

You shall be able to use whatever lipstick you want.

I would suggest either Laura Mercier the primer or smashbox photo finish primer.

Happy shopping

Hydro color. It's a new line from Maybelline, (i think). But it was made to keep lips moisturized and colored without that "sticky" feeling.
