I would check online for a MOPS (mothers of pre-schoolers) group, I will leave you the link. This is great for moms, there is usually a sitter for the preschoolers. ADULT time is always important when you have little ones.
Go to the link below, click on Groups on the left side, then click find a local group. You can put in your zip, and they will give you the closest meeting place, which is usually at a church.

I would call around to some boys and girls clubs and ask, ask your local church, or look on the internet for Parenting groups in your area.

I am in a moms group on meetup.com and go under parenting. I moved into a new area and I have some great friends I met on there.

I went through the local Child Care Resource and Referral office, they had a few that i tried, unfortunately non of them were what I was looking for. Lots of moms with 5 or 6 kids who proudly kept cranking em out to get more welfare. In your area though they may have more of what you are looking for.

Ask your health visitor, or who ever it is that runs your baby's healthcare. They will be able to tell you all you need to know!
