I think Lucy was the best because she was so innocent and it was great acting by the little girl. Lucy was the heroine in this movie in my opinion.

Ooh I think it would be a toss-up between Susan - she's so pretty, so wise beyond her years, and engenders such trust. I was kind of a gangly, awkward, bookish child and not much to look at as a teenager. I wish I'd been more like her.
Or Aslan. That fur, that powerful voice (Liam Neeson, drooool I adore him!). They did such a good job of him I very nearly believed that lion was real AND talking. I'd love to have him as a teacher, a guide, a leader. He's fair and just and compassionate and magickal. I fell in love with that movie the same way I fell in love with the books as a child.

The dwarf who assists the White Witch was so cool. I also liked the head wolf. And of course the witch herself.
The kids were a bit, pale, like as if they'd been locked up in an attic or something. And talking lions, well, it was between preachy and sacrilegious. If I had to pick a goodie, I'd have to say the centaur.
