what can i major in when i go to college for preveterinary medicine because that's not a mahor? Any suggestions are nice thank you.

A pre vet will need to take a lot of biology and chemistry in order to get accepted to vet school, so if one of those interests you, that would be a good choice for a major.

But another way to look at it is that you will spend several years in vet school studying these things, so you may want to pursue other interests while an undergrad. You will still need to take all the pre-vet required classes in addition to those required for your major, but it may be worth it to you if there is some other topic you really like.

Most schools tell you to major in biology or zoology. Schools such as LSU and University of Tennessee allow you to major in pre-vet courses as an emphasis. You would probably still fall under the Biology and Health and Sciences department, but these institutions have great vet schools and your expose would we great! Hope that helps.
