I am a high school senior with a dream of working as a pharmaceutical researcher. What college degree would help me the most in fulfilling my dream? How do I enter this field after college graduation?

There are ads in the paper all time looking for people to be part of pharmaceutical research. They get paid pretty well - sometimes a couple of grand.

I would start there.

You will have to have a degree in chemistry, or biochemistry. A bachelors degree will not earn you much money as a lab assistant, you will need at least a masters [preferably a doctorate] to earn some real money.

A science type degree like biology or something in the medical field like nursing.

Look into Chemistry. All basic science courses with an emphasis on Chemistry will help.
