I try to leave my expectations at home. I go to a movie because I want to be taken away to another place for a short time, and leave reality at the door.

Mostly, I expect to be riveted. Most of the movies I go to nowadays don't do that. The one way I know a movie isn't up to par is if, at any time during the movie, my mind wanders to something else. If it can't even keep my attention, what's the point?

I mostly expect a good story in order to do that; it doesn't have to be high drama- I can take slow-moving films, but they need to be interesting enough to keep me involved.

If I actually leave the house to go see a movie, I want to be entertained while eating buttery popcorn and sourpatch kids. I only go to the movies occassionally because you can buy the movie on dvd in a few months and it costs less than going to the actual theater. Plus, it seems as if everyone in the movie audience is rude - answering cell phone calls, engaging in loud conversations with their friends, bringing infants and toddlers to horror films or repeatedly kicking my seat.

First star casting(Neha,Mallika,Cellina,lara,katrina...they might be good models but worst actresess).
With the impressive acting a dead story can be a big hit.
You are right that nowdays movies are sinking ,reason is ---we are hiring models with great bodies but they don't have talent which is the foremost requirement for a sucessful movie.
