No it is not true. Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black pearl and Dead mans chest were great movies with long titles. Sometimes a long title will make movies stand out and that is what the producers/writers want.

No, I don't think so. I think Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind was really good, also like the movie The Adventures Of Buckaroo Banzai: Across The Eigth Dimension, a lot.

Well, let's see. There have been some real horrific films with short titles (The Brothers Grimm, Van Helsing, Spice World, Little Man) and their have been some horrific films with long titles. I don't think it matters.

no.
in my opinion, "brushfires" was AWFUL and it's only one word,
and "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" is AMAZING and it's title is, obviously, longer.
the length of the title has nothing to do with its quality

no, "titanic" was a romanticists piece o crap for chicks while "don't be a menace to south central while drinking your juice in the hood" fkn rocked!!!
