I'd go off of your list and get Frank Darabont. He's got a pretty good track record of adapting Stephen King stories to film.

Marcus Nispel has only really ever done two horror films and I wasn't big fans of either.

I think that The Descent is one of the best current horror films this decade, so Neil Marshall might be able to pull it off.

John Moore...is he the director of Pitch Black?? I'm not sure whether he'd be a good pick.

I think Alexandre Aja is too inexperienced.

I've only ever seen one James Wan movie (Saw) so I don't know if he can really pull of a complex story like IT.

Rob Zombie would probably make it more contemporary, a little more shock and awe.

My personal pick would be Danny Boyle, who directed The Beach and 28 Days Later. I think he'd do a great job!!!

I agree with the director of th Descent, but you gotta take i mind, 1 :hes a foriegner, 2: This movie is alot more complex then just a regular horror film.
Rob Zombie would certainly twist this movie up alot more then it already is.
So my vote would be for him.
