A website is simply a website. A domain name is when your website address doesn't include the service's title, so it'd be the title of the website .com or .net, whatever. For example, geocities websites would not be domain names, because they're still part of the hosting site. Examples of domain names are:
www.website.com
www.bsdsdflkjsdf.com
www.dfigdflgihj.org
etc., but things like xanga.com/usernamelijdsfl aren't domains.

A website is the actual place where you go, like Yahoo and any of the services offered by Yahoo like your email, the search page, etc. A domain name is like "yahoo.com" ; "msn.com" "domainname.com"
The site is what is on the page where you go, website is composed of web pages. The web address is what is known as an URL "http://www.domainname.com"
The domain is similar to the URL, but it's only the last part of the URL...it's 'The DotCom" portion of the URL.
Think of 'Expedia.com' as the domain, when you pull up the page and look at it, you're on their website.
You know, 'Master of your domain." Same sort of thing there..

The area call is hooked as much as the IP handle via the registrar the information superhighway internet site could exist without a DN yet no person could have the skill to discover it. An analogy is this your place is almost a internet site, it has an handle that's like an IP handle, yet till you're interior the telephone provider itemizing that's variety of a internet site call registration no person will call. The analogy isn't acceptable, yet i wish it facilitates.

The website is the page or pages that you see when you visit a site. A Domain name is the adress that it is linked to.
example:
www.whateveryourdomainnameis.com is the adress or link to the site on the internet, alternately, if the site was on your computer, it would just be an adress like C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents
