Breast milk is the way to go. Your baby will be much healthier. Here are some benefits:
-Prevents colds and viruses
-Cheaper than formula
-It actually makes your baby have a 10% chance to make better choices
-Your baby may have better grades and do well in school
-It is always there whenever you need it

This is all true and not made up info. I could go on and on about how much better it is for your baby, but I won't. Hope this helps! And yes, I am young but I have a mother who is a nurse and a 30 year old sister who is a lactation consultent. She always tells me how luck I was to have been breastfead.

Breast feeding is the ultimate best way to go!! It is not an easy road but carries HUGE benefits for your baby. If you can't do it for the next year just do it for as long as you can. Any breastfeeding is better than none. The benefits are HUGE!! If it doesn't work out for you breastfeeding there are plenty of great formulas on the market. I suggest Isomil if not breastmilk.
Good Luck

absolutely. Breast feeding protects the baby. Mother's milk protects new borns from common colds. The temperature of mother's milk is just the right one, so no harm to the baby's digestive system. The concentration of the mother's milk and its fat content is ideal. Holding the baby while breast feeding him will give him security and love unmatched by any other means. New borns think that they are still in their mother's womb. If you detach him from you it comes as a shock to him.
