Oh yes. A woman came into the restaurant and I swore she was someone I knew and I knew her daughter. I started babbling away and she just stared at me. Then I got this feeling that she was not who I thought she was...and she wasn't. I was soooo embarrassed and her husband was laughing while she still sat mortified.

Yes, I've gone up and started talking to strangers thinking they were people I knew at least 5 times.
My vision is 20/200, though, so that MIGHT explain it!

Yes, many times. I sat next to someone who looked identical to my brother in law. I started poking him in the ribs, and he looked at me as if to say, "who are you?" When he started to talk then I realized I made a mistake, was I embarrassed!

Many times. I've thought I've seen my family and friends in cars and then I start waving at them and they think I'm weird or something. Once time a boy was playing a game at best buy or something and I thought he was my brother. I said you can't play that game and then he ran away and started crying. It was odd. I think it was more embarrassing for him..

Yes, I walked in a convenient store, thought I saw someone I used to work with. I said what's this loser doing here, as I put my hand out to shake his. He shuck my hand as if he knew me. We both played it off as if we knew each other as we waked away. Very embarrassing.

I once mistook a pizza delivery car for a taxi and tried to flag it down in front of a bunch of people.

Yes, I have. But haven't done as bad as my uncle did yesterday.
My aunt is in the hospital, he went & bought her a gown. Went to take it to her, went in the room & asked "is this pink one ok?". The lady in the bed rolled over & it wasn't my aunt, he was in the wrong room.
