Ever since I got 2 best answers it has said 2%, but I have 5 best answers now. Why does it say I still only have 2%?

It's because you've answered more questions, so your ratio of best answers has stayed the same.
eg. if you answer 10 questions and get 1 best answer, that is 10%. If you answer 100 questions and 10 best answers, that' still 10%. Get it?

Because out of all the answers, only 2% was marked as THE BEST ANSWER
I have 1291 answers and only 5% was Best Answer, and I got like 60+ Best answer, took me a while to figure that out

my guess would be that you've also answered more questions which did NOT get a best answer. since a percentage is a TOTAL PERCENTAGE of all of the answers you've given, it will stay at two percent unless you start getting a higher percentage of best answers. I, for example, answer lots and lots of questions, and i am usually around 15-19 percent best answer. some answers don't get chosen as best. remember: it's PERCENT, not total number of best answers.

becoz it's not in no's, but in percentage and in proportion to the amount of question u answer. therefore at the time u got only 2 best answers, u had answered less questions than u have now, so to kick it up u will need to get more best anwers in proportion to the amount of answered questions. there!

It's the percentage of best answers. You have to consider how many answers you have total.

because you have answered more questions for example:
Lets say "Sally" has 50% of 2 questions if she answers 2 more and gets 1 more best answer she still has 50%

The number of questions you ask will decrease the percentage, until more Best Answers are received.
