I agree The Westing Game and And Then There Were None are both great; but my favorite would have to be Crocodile on the Sandbank, by Elizabeth Peters. It's the first novel starring Amelia Peabody, Victorian-era Egyptologist, and the best of an excellent series.

And then there were none (by Agatha Christie) and the westing game. I could not put these books down, they were so good!
