Why does he always have a character named O'Doole in all his movies?

I read some where thats his nickname for his tool. I'm not kidding!

well, i guess he just likes too have a character named O'Doole. he even has rob scheneider a cameo in almost all of his movies.

well that character always plays the annoying jerk bully. so i'm guessing adam sandler was probably picked on by an O' Doyle and this is his way of getting him back

Maybe someone he knows has that name and he asked the producers to use it. Or maybe it's just a coincidence. How do you notice all those little things?
