ok..it does come back out. but your cervical mucus is how the sperm travels to you egg. Some say to increase your chances just lay down with a pillow under your bum so your elevated and the sperm will flow more deep inside you and it pools closer. Good luck! and i hope that helps:)

ooh you can join www.ivillage.com and just go to the tryin to conceive boards..there are real nice ladies here that can help!

If you're actively trying to get pregnant, you shouldn't be getting up immediately following intercourse (not sure if that IS what you're doing, but it sounded that way from your wording). Try lying on your back, possibly with a small pillow under your hips, for 15 or 20 minutes after sex. That should generally be enough time and will help position your body to give the semen the best access to your cervix.

Good luck!

I used to wonder the same thing because it seemed like as soon as we finished having sex, all of his semen ran back out of me. But don't worry, i am exactly 24 weeks pregnant today! So it works, even if it doesn't seem like it's working. I know it's hard but just try to be patient. It seems like babies like to come when you least expect them. (It won't hurt to lay on your back for about 20 or 30 minutes after sex before you get up. Give the sperm a chance to get where the are going.)

Don't worry about the sperm coming out.It only requires one of millions of sperm cells that are ejaculated to get you pregnant. If you feel unsure about it when most of it comes out,i would suggest crossing your legs when your partner pulls out and stay that way for a while before opening your legs again.
Cheers.

Some of it always stays inside you. You're not doing anything wrong.
