Well, any sexual tension in a movie/show will get a guys attention, regardless of whether its a cartoon, live theatre or real-person movie. One can capture more sexuality when they focus on what makes a woman attractive while doing away with what makes them a bother. Much like women like to read romantic novels, getting "hot and bothered" by a fictional character is equivalent to hentai for men, should one need to draw parallels.

Why not? It's depicting the same sort of information that pornography depicts, and there are thousands of things that can be done in hentai that can't be done in real life. Nobody can get hurt either (except perhaps the people that slave away hours of their lives creating it).

Images are basically images; just because it's stylized doesn't mean it won't carry an erotic/attractive message (information) which is all equivalent in the eyes of the brain. Seeing a naked picture would be essentially the same thing as seeing a naked woman, from what I gather.

(But I do basically have to agree with Der Fuhrer about it.)

The fact that I am able to disagree with you on a glorious medium known as the Internet, which was invented by men, proves that men are not RULED by their "lower halves"; rather they are ruled by emotion and logic, just as women are, but to varying degrees.

I didn't know that there was such a thing. Judging by the answers I've read, Hentai is cartoon porn? If that's the case, it's hilarious! Just goes to show that men are truly ruled by the lower half.
