From what I have heard, the show was original scheduled for 5 seasons. But rumors now seem to be saying 4. I can't see it going for 7 seasons. There might be a spin off or something... about what happens to some of the characters after they make it off the island. Everybody loves Hurely and he would make for a great post-Lost show.

Series 3 is definetly not the end. I heard that it is going to go up to series 5 then finish off with a movie.

A friend of mine even told me that there is gonna be about 7 or 8 television series and 2 movies aswell. Only God knows how they're gonna keep this pathetic story going for that long.

In my opinion, LOST is a lost series. You never know where it will go. I'm guessing it will end like "The West Wing" did. It will go a couple seasons, be successful, but pushed to a new, inconvenient time, viewers will stop watching for its inconvenience and it will be pushed off the air. Either that, or people will come to their minds and realize the show (or TV in itself) is not worth their time. The latter isn't likely.

Series 3 is not the end. LOST has a huge following. 7 years seems realistic.

Are you kidding? They're just getting getting into it good.
I want to see them build places to live, like they were
really stranded on an Island.

Then again, Is It almost over ?
Because those bad people can come and go.

LOST is the new version of Gilligan's Island, they will be on that island as long as you watch.
