Philadelphia unloaded Alan Henderson simply to save cap space.
They are entitled to 2nd Utah's pick if in the 2007 draft in exchange for theres, but aren't forced to trade it if Philadelphia's ends up being a better pick.

That is what it means.
Phildelphia obviously won't get anything in the deal because Utah's pick is much worse.
Whether it was a good move or not is a different issue, but to be honest Philly is probably better off without henderson.

That was a horrible trade. first of all Alen Henderson does't make taht much money. second of all The sixers pick is going to be way better than the Jazz Billy King is just the dumbest General Manager in the NBA. Even though it's only a second round pick its still a stupid trade

hum its actually pretty interesting.

they dont have to pay his guaranteed contract even if it was for 770K a year. They never used him and they probably would never get anything back.

its actually the smartest thing billy King has done in awhile.

you shed a contract that you didn't want and you dont get penalized for it. Its like waiving someone but not having to pay them.

ummm y guess would be that alan hendersons salary is 2 high so they traded him...for nothin jus 2 get rid of his salary idk what 2 tell u i barely even kno who dat guy is
