for me this saying means "don't go looking for trouble (never trouble) until someone else caused trouble (till trouble troubles you)". there is also an old african fable that uses this quote as the moral. go to this website: http://www.afro.com/children/myths/crocodile/intro.html

for me it means don´t worry (never trouble) until it is time to worry (till trouble troubles you). In other words: don´t waste your time looking for a solution for a problem that has not arrived
