Shkspr is right--there are a zillion adaptations out there.

I always recommend this fabulous resource:
www.findaplay.com

Type in "Christmas Carol" and you'll get many hits with info on length, casting requirements, and the companies that publish them. This is a great and easy way to compare and find one that works for you.

There must be literally HUNDREDS of stage adaptations of "A Christmas Carol." If you've seen a particular version that you enjoyed, I would suggest that you contact that theatre directly, and ask them whether the adaptation they used is available for purchase.

As already answered there are tons of different versions and people are bored with most. You might want to get the book, and then write your own version or get someone to write it for you. Another way to go would be to write the story from another POV. Let's say from the ghosts point of view with Marley being himself and all the other ghosts as well.

The original story was a book by Charles Dickens and it has been adapted for the stage and screen. Do you know which version/adaptation you want?
