How are you going to transfer money without giving out personal information? Do you really think some bank is going to put up a website or something that all you have to do is give them your email address and they'll transfer funds to whoever you want? How would they know who you are to get their money from you?

Conversely, if you're trying to get money from someone else, you want them to send it to your email account? Sure. That would work. I'll send you $20 bucks right now to your email account. Just give me your address.
