If you already have a Les Paul, then you've got the Blues, Jazz and Rock stuff covered. A Tele is a great allrounder, but so is a Strat -- sorry, I'm not being much help here am I ?
You'll just have to save up and buy both !!

There is no Stratosastor, it's StratocastEr. Strat has 3 pickups, as opposed to Tele's 2, so it's more versatile and has more subtle sounds. The problem is that they are single-coils and tend to buzz at high volumes. They have some new silent single coils on most American models, but they are more expensive - not that it would matter to someone who has already spent for a Les Paul.
Honestly, I've played Gibsons and Fenders, but I think they're so old fashioned and limited in what they can do - one trick ponies, really, especially Gibsons - that after I got my first Ibanez Prestige I ain't going back. With a single RG550 Prestige I can do what neither does (Floyd Rose, 24 frets, H-S-H replaced by H-H-H DiMarzios...) But, it's your money, so go for a Strat unless you want a mean, jangly, aggressive but rather limited axe that is Tele.

I have a strat, never played a telocaster. I just think the strat is a beautiful guitar. Ask someone at your local music shop. They're both great guitars so maybe they can help you determine between the two

It depends on what you plan on doing. The Strat is more versatile.
