I don't think Sophia is too common. Sophie is far more common! But I think Bella is a much more beautiful name!

For me Bella is a strong word while Sophia is on little bit soft side. I prefer Sophia.

I think Sophia and Bella are really pretty. I also like Isabella and use Bella for short.

This is hard for me because I do love Bella but when I really think about it I think that I like it as a nickname. It is so pretty but it is a little girl name. I would go with Isabella.
Isabella and Sophia are equally nice. They are both very common. They are the same style as Olivia, Ava, Eve, Lydia, Claire, Lilly, and Emma. Old names that have made a huge come back. I love them all.
My favorite out of the ones I listed would probably be Ava but that is one of the most popular and Lydia. Lydia is getting there but not reached the same level yet.

Sophia, Bella reminds of that fat bird in the eighties with Russ Abbott Bella Emberg
