I am not ashamed to buy Playgirl. Many want to buy it but don't because they are afraid someone is looking [a man] and will think she is a slut. Also, Some men-runned stores refuse to sell it but they sell Mens magazines. I guess some men are still selfish. They think sex is only for men to enjoy. Well, we women love it too! We get orgasms too!

The magazine is just as successful as Playboy. Most women get it through the mail because store owners don't want to carry it. This is a fact. Women are just as Visual as men. The fact that many buy this magazine proves it!

I'll have to disagree with you here. Objectification is still objectification-regardless of gender. I agree, it has traditionally been of women, and some might cheer that as a step towards equality, but to me, it is a regression. That said, I am doubtful that male-oriented stores refuse to sell it-rather that is far less successful then it's counterpart, Playboy. I think the majority of women appeal to the emotional aspect rather than the visual (exceptions aside). Lastly, do I think a women should be ashamed if she prefers visual aids? Not at all. Whatever makes her happy in the stimulation department, is her business.

As to your question, I have never known one woman to express even the remotest interest in Playgirl magazine. What a time-waster!!!
I know you are very wrong in your (unsupported) claim that Playgirl is as popular as "Playboy. I am not going to knock myself out providing you with evidence to refute your altogether nonexistent evidence but here's this:

"Playboy's circulation is more than three million copies in the United States and 4.5 million worldwide. Ther most widely circulated issue appeared in November 1972 and sold 7,161,561 copies.

It is not the world's best selling magazine, National Geographic for example is published in 23 languages, with a total circulation of approximately 9.5 million copies per month, 8 million of which are subscribers'.

One theory behind the lack of success of Playgirl is that women are less 'visual' in this respect than men. My personal theory is that it's a time waster - no one I know - or have ever known - has time for crap like this.

Yup. Go ahead and buy what you want to provided you have the money. If somebody doesn't like it, that's his/her business. If it's not hurting anybody and you want to do it, it's all up to you.

do whatever, it's good you don't care what people think, if more women didn't, then it would be sold in more locations.
