sounds like a virus...

if you cant get on the internet or download a program, then it may be time to re-install fresh new copy of your OS.

sorry to hear, but that my be all you can do. Take it to a tech pro, they will advise you. You may loose all ur info unless they can *save * it for you...

next time intall a virsus and spyware protection program before you do anything else;

Anti-virus protection: AVAST or AVG(grisoft); both free and well know...
Spyware protection: Spywareguard; also free

install one of each (spyware and virus protect)

Whatever the symptoms are, a nasty virus already delivered its payload, time to reinstall Windows, you should back up documents, but avoid running macros within them once you got your fresh install back up and those documents open.

Must be a Dell...Lol JK. Sounds like a virus, do a scan. If you cant do that listen to other people and see what they half to say and if that does not work do a system restore.

could be a regristry problem...try going to a restore point that was made a while back...if that doesn't work then you could have been hit by a virus...so if that dont work start over and this time update your virus protection

Do you have a virus checker? If you don't, you should download one and run the full scan. Here is a free one http://free.grisoft.com/
