Nope, you can't do it unless you can bribe all witnesses involved and this extends not only from medical staff there at the time, but to the registrar and all sorts. Not worth trying. Unless you're a time lord and can do that kinda thing!
Why would you want to anyway? I remember it as a very special time and date.

my auntie was born at home in the 1920's and grandad ha dto go and register the birth. He gave the wrong day so she must be illegal

do you mean that you are booked in for a c section and you dont want it on the day thay have given you.I would just tell the doctor,im sure he will change it for you.
