My compter is taking extreme amounts of time to download files that are just a few MBs. I have dsl high speed so its not my internet's fault. Could someone plz help me fix my computer?

It is very probably the source of the files you're trying to download, or maybe the files are not even there. Or you don't know how to configure & optimize your DSL.

Call your ISP its the most hassle free way to resolve this issue.
