That cage is a good size for Campbells Russian Dwarfs, Winter White Russian Dwarfs or Chinese hamsters. If you have Roborovskis, they would be happier in a larger cage.

Congratulations on discovering the new housing option that many breeders, including myself, are using. I have well over 100 hamsters and house each of them in these kind of plastic bins. I drill holes in the sides and affix washers around the holes so that a water bottle can be hung on the outside but the hamsters can't chew the plasitic around the hole. Occassionally (so far only 3 out of the 300 or so I've housed this way) one will chew a hole into the corner to try to escape. It takes them awhile to chew the hole but the ones that do this need to be moved to a glass aquarium.

they would not be used to the tubes yet, I had a dwarf hamster whilst i replace into little and he could not do lots at first, yet interior a pair months he replace right into a splash acrobat. they're going to in all probability determine it out quickly.
