I don't like to sit beside old men in public transport. Thanks anyhow.

I wouldn't turn down anyone to sit beside me. I honestly could care less. I would probably put my purse or something on the seat next to me so I that I could be by myself for a bit If I was the one choosing the seat..I would find the seat closest to the front and the most accessible to the aisle...wouldn't care who was next to me. I'd smile and then read my book or sleep. probably sleep. If I snored...The question would be more apt as to who the heck would want to sit next to me!

I have sat next to all three, and they ALL said America woulda been better off if we spent that $300 billion dollars in Iraq on the problem of Social Security running out for their grandkids.

Probally black, alot of them tell better stories. The white old men only talk about being on a farm, boring.

Why race matters in this? I take subway everyday to work and don't give a **** the person next to me is white, black or ....what have you. As long as he/she doesn't stink, use too much perfurme or cologne, make a lot of noise or intrude my space, that's fine.

Doesn't really matter, but if I have to pick one: the asian man, because he's likely to take up less space!

Who cares?

The people I don't want beside me are the ones who reek of cigarettes, stink of BO, chew gum with their mouth open, and pick their nose in public.

Where empty seat is...I don't choose the seat by the race of person who sits next to me! That's racist...
