Yes! They're the biggest, by far, associated with eBay, have been around for years, and I've used them quite often and have no complaints.

Look at it this way: would you rather give your credit card to every merchant you do business with online, or would you rather just give your credit card to PayPal and have them handle all your transactions where the merchant supports them. When you pay with PayPal, the merchant does not see your credit card at all, and it's also a much more convenient way to make the payment.

Just make sure your PayPal account is secure. Make the password 8+ characters, using both numbers and letters, and never give it to anyone else.

I've used it for years, even before E-bay bought them. Never had a problem. But there others who say otherwise. In my experience, get a new account at the bank and use that one only for paypal. Also if you attach it to a credit card youhave the added security of the credit card company if anything goes wrong. Also, when you make a purchase using it, READ EVERYTHING TWICE. Make sure you're only ordering what you want and no extras and document everything. I heard it is ahrd to dispute stuff with PayPal without sufficient information. If you sell something vis PayPal, say on E-bay, always send it registered mail as you have proof of receipt. Hope this helps.

I thought they were at first, but then I had money taken out on things that I didn't buy online. So, I canceled them. Be really careful.
