when i told my mother i was running away from home. i packed a suitcase, got to the end of the driveway, turned around and came running back crying! i was about 4 or 5.

Dad was a bodyguard in the 60's. I was born in Washington DC, but left when I was about 3yrs old & the only memory I have from then is sitting in a highchair on the balcony, with half of a huge watermelon & a spoon in my hand!.

Really bright sunlight and I couldn't stop blinking. Then having a discussion about binoculars, which we called field glasses. I thought they were saying feel-glasses, because things seemed so close that you could reach out and feel them.
Also I remember my third birthday party. I was sitting in the special chair, and I suddenly thought, "I remember doing this last year". I don't have a memory of that memory though.

nI think I was about 2. I was playing around the door when my Dad came back from work with an enormous looking funny shaped parcel. I didn't know what it was and I remember everyone laughing at me because I hadn't a clue what I was looking at even when it was unwrapped. It was an orange and green painted metal trike for ME 1

I remember my Dad letting me sit on his lap and pretend to drive when I was about 2 or 3.
This was in the early 60's so there were no car seats yet.
It was also in our neighborhood, I don't want you to think badly of my Dad!

I was 4 nearly 5.. lived in Germany, Dortmund. and in winter walked on thin ice and fell in, someone saved me then i run home. only to be told off for getting wet.then got sent to bed. i sobbed.there is more to this memory, but hurts to say.and is vivid to me.

I can actually remember being taken to the doctor's (my mother says i was about 6 months old when this happened) and peeing on the nurse when she tried to change my nappy.

lerning to ride my first big bike i did not lern to stop i was riding along a rode coming up to a junction and my 1/2 brothers had to tire burn me (that is take it in turns to put their frunt tire against me backto slow me down)

On my uncles shoulders..watching a parade. I think it was a 4th of July parade.
