I honestly do not know what to call it; I'd call it middle east but I don't know if that is the correct phrase.

This region is termed as South East Asia or South Asian Sub continent. The local music pop culture is mostly Punjabi (Language of states of Punjab both in Pakistan and India,as Punjab is divided) but a lot of great Urdu (Langua Franca) music is also breaking the norm.Punjabi culture and Music is like Rap and Hip. Its massaive popular. SE Asian culture is also known as Desi Culture. Desi means Origanal,Local and Pure.
I am suggesting you a website for downloading MP3. Also try the most recent massively hit singer "Atif Aslam". He is popular in both India and Pakistan. Done amazing concerts in both countries and his music is kind of sad and emotional.
