The world is in the process of an ice age right now. You're probably asking how. With Global Warming, how can things get cold? Well, you see, all the ice melts up north and down south. Water level rises to levels never seen by mankind. Coastal cities will disappear. New York, California, Halifax, Vancouver (that's just North America, never mind across the pond) and what not will no longer exist. Water does one thing very well. Absorb and take away heat. All the warmth will be absorbed into the now massive bodies of water that were once oceans and carry it away. It gets colder and colder. Trees die off releasing thousands of tons of toxins into the air and the sunlight is eventually (given a few hundred years) blocked off. Causing, an ice age where mass snow all over the planet, filters and cleans the earth to start all over again. Ta-Da!!
