I'm going to be putting in my first tampon today.......Will it hurt?.......What does it feel like?

If you put the tampon in in the direction your uterus goes you will not feel it. If the end part of tampon (not the string but the hard cotton part) is still sticking out a little after you've released the applicator, you'll know it's not in straight. Take it out and try again. Once you've gotten used to tampons you'll be cussin out pads. Tampons are miracle workers.

The first time does feel really weird, it will do something like that for the first time. Once it is actually inside you can't feel it at all thats why i use them plus you can carry on doing things like normal. Just make sure you read the warnings and change regularly.

It shouldn't hurt if you do it correctly. Make sure you follow the instructions on the box and don't leave it in too long. Just relax while inserting it. Being tense will only make things worse for you on your first time.

omigod!! i put my first tampon in not to long ago! it hurt so bad it made me cry. heads up.......it hurt more to take it out. as soon as the first one is done, it wont hurt all of the other times u do it. good luck!
