I wouldn't say Sophia is common, Sounds nice.
Although I was pretty shocked when I saw what the most common names were today for babies!
Jacob and Abigail were way up there! I don't know anyone named Jake (except someones kid lol) and Abigail seems like an old lady name to me - I can only ever think of that book "The Crucible" when I hear the name Abigail.

I don't think Sophia is very common, at least not where I live but I personally like Bella better. It's more outgoing and vibrant. Sophia sounds more reserved. Just my opinion.

I love the name Sophie and Sophia is basically the same thing. It's an adorable name and I can honestly say that I don't even know a Sophie or Sophia personally. Good Luck!
