Here.. lets start with the left side first 2/5(10x+25) = 4x+10 and now do the other side and you will get -10 -4x-12, which turns out to be -22-4x. make them equal to each other 4x+10=-22-4x. Next you get 8x=-32. Divide by 8, and your final answer is -4. Plug that number in to check to make sure that the answer you got works. Again the answer is -4.

4x+10= 40x+120
-110=36x
x= -55/18
