I heard this was true, but I was wondering if it worked for anybody.

I was on my due date and I wanted my baby out, so my husband and I went to the store at midnight to get a pineapple. I ate the whole damn thing, and all it did was give me a stomach ache, haha! It doesn't work. Someone might have just ate some right before they went into labor and they thought that's what did it.

Good luck!

I think there is some truth in it but not enough studies have been done to prove it. Fresh (has to be fresh) pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelaine which is supposed to help break down the cervix, thus thinning it.. I read you would have to eat like 10 in a row to actually start labour.. It's safe, healthy and tasty so no harm in trying. Good luck! Xx

yes but you would have to like 40 but you can try .. no harm in it. but there is a lot of vitamin C which may not be good for baby in HIGH doses.. still healthy to eat it in moderation though so eat some pineapple through out the day.. Mmmmm i love pineapple
