Japanese is more entertaining, but I would recommend American cartoons to kids.

Japanese anime and older American cartoons. Right now, networks such as disney channel and nickelodeon broadcast some boring shows. I miss cartoons such as Doug, Hey Arnold, and Rugrats..Japanese anime has more variety than American cartoons

like animefanatic said. japanese anime and older american cartoons. there's really no good cartoons on disney or nickelodeon. no cartoons at all really. it's a shame. they need to go back to what they were showing about 5-10 yrs ago. maybe not those actual cartoons, but more cartoons.
