Language development coincided with the development of human brains. Hominids diverged from apes when social relations such as grooming were extended to organize technical skills such as tool-use. Evidence of deliberate burial, the development of the semi-modern vocal tract, and the use of symbols (cave-paintings) have also been used as clues to language development. Based on this, some would theorize that human language, as we understand it, is about 200,000 years old.

When hominids evolutionated from being a monkey, he learned to stand up in 2 feet, not in 4, this gave a bit of more space in the throat so that the vocal cords would have more ways of vibrating. This allowed the humans to create the variety of sounds thay can create and other animals can´t. When each tribe moved to different places, each one developed a code to communicate.....at least that's the theory.
