Why are we not all just called the human race?

The only reason was so that people could start hating others in a more efficient manner... so yes, there is only one race, and those who think otherwise are all bigoted ignorami to some point.

Lets blame it on the scientists. We are the human race, but they felt they had to name us by regions I suppose.

all the subdivisions are rather arbitrary and leads to some pretty whacked-out conclusions/errors.
