All the answers from others are correct you may have a leak or you may have a condensation problem, it may be that your roof space has not been ventilated properly or that the insulation in the roof has covered the roof vents. I can not give you a answer as your question is not specific enough. where is it, in which room etc.

The mold grows because of excess moisture.Wash the mold off with water and a cap full of bleach.You will also need a dehumidifier to control the moisture in your home.

mold is caused by some type of moisture getting in your ceiling and wall. it can be caused by a leak in a pipe or a bad roof. The best option to take care of this is to hire a professional.

Moisture is coming from some where, Zinseer makes a mold & mildew remover which cost about $6 and comes in a spray bottle, works great but you've got to get rid of your moisture problem or it will keep coming back. Good Luck

mold grows on your wall/ceiling because of to much condensation.when you go to cook or boil something always open some windows that will help i guarantee

you have a leak of slight portions fix it
to get rid of the mold use a bleach, simple green and water mixture of equeal portion will dry and disappear

My husband has been a carpenter for many years. He said you have a moisture problem and need to ventilate your attic.vapor barrier between sheet rock and studs.

If this problem is in your laundry room, reconnect your dryer to the outdoor vent. this is a big source of health problems of familys.
